Piotr Malak

Piotr Malak is a research assistant at Institute of Information Science and Book Knowledge, Nicolas Copernicus University Torun (Poland), since 2001 and a member of Polish Information Processing Society. He provides, among others, authorial courses on “Knowledge and Information Management Systems”, and “Intranets”. Main interests: data mining, information retrieval and extraction, effective information and knowledge management and management information systems, artificial intelligence (automatic knowledge base expansion, expert systems), computer linguistic (automatic evaluation of digital documents informational value, linguistic rules of natural language in digital documents), computer network and web technologies.

P. M. has also given mentioned above courses as guest lectures at Universities in Ankara, and Amsterdam, soon in Vilnius, as well as an English-driven courses for Socrates/Erasmus students in Torun.
