Providing Access to Information for Everyone

Louise Cooke

I am Lecturer in Information & Knowledge Management in the Department of Information Science at Loughborough University. In addition to knowledge management, my research interests focus on various areas of information policy, particularly those that relate to Internet content regulation and freedom of expression.

Since January 2006, I have taught and researched within the field of information science and knowledge management at Loughborough University. Prior to this, I taught policy-related subjects in the Department of Information Science at City University. I am currently researching the use of Social Network Analysis to investigate information and knowledge sharing within police organisations. I hold a PhD iin Information Science: my thesis concerned regulation of Internet content and access.
