Since april 2000 professor for marketing of information services at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, faculty of information and communication sciences, institute of information science. Main topics in teaching and research are customer relationship management, quality management and online marketing and pricing of information. Dean from 2001 – 2006, since April 2006 vice president of Teaching, Academic Studies and Academic Reform. President of KIBA - conference of the German Universities in information and library science since 2004. Many lectures and speeches about the German studies in information and library studies in Germany and the Bologna process.
